Week One

Week one has been all about refining. Refining the idea, planning roles for the team, and setting up this blog that I am currently writing in. Over the weekend a few of us organized a time to discuss the plot and story of “I Did, Did I?” and made some significant changes to it.

Arin suggested this more streamlined approach consisting of the lead character managing little moments as they spiral through a depressive episode. We decided paring it down and holding specific moments under a microscope would be a better way to utilize the story structure. With that in mind, we ran with the idea of moving from room to room in this character’s house with them as they slowly lose control. Joe offered to send me photos of his home as the location for filming and using them as a reference helped direct how the script was finalized.

Ideas can change, can grow, and transform. Through trial and consideration, the best idea can be brought to the forefront. Now with the script complete, we will move towards scheduling, and confirming casting.
